User Roles breakdown

CLIENT ADMIN

  • Role: Client Administrator
  • Created by: DayOne administrator during the registration of a new client account
  • Access Level: Full access to all modules and settings within the application.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the overall administration of the application.
    • Create and manage Building Admin accounts.
    • Ensure that the system configurations and settings are properly maintained.

BUILDING ADMIN

  • Role: Building administrator
  • Created by: Client Administrator
  • Access Level: Full access to all modules and settings, similar to Client Admin.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage building-specific settings and configurations within the application.
    • Create and manage Staff User accounts.
    • Assign specific module access permissions to Staff Users, ensuring they have the tools they need without overextending their access.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations within their designated building(s), including monitoring and managing deliveries, maintenance requests, and other building-specific activities.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Staff Users and Resident Users within their building, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.

STAFF USER

  • Role: Staff Member
  • Created by: Building administrator
  • Access Level: Similar to Building Admin but with restricted access to specific modules.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Perform tasks and manage activities as assigned by the Building Admin.
    • Access and utilize only the modules that the Building Admin has permitted them to use (e.g., Delivery modules).
    • Support building operations and assist residents with their needs within the scope of their access.

RESIDENT USER

  • Role: Resident
  • Access Type: Access to the website only.
  • Access Level: Limited to the functionalities relevant to residents, without administrative privileges.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Use the website to access information and services pertinent to their residency.
    • Submit requests, such as maintenance or delivery inquiries, through the website.
    • Communicate with Building Admins and Staff Users as needed for support.
